A Day at the Fair

These pictures were taken by my sister, Heather, at the fair. She just got a great new digital camera and she is a wonderful photographer. Thank you Heather for capturing such amazing pictures!!

For those of you who haven't seen Patience in 10 years, that is her in the 3rd picture! She is taller than me and so beautiful. As you can tell, I'm a proud Aunt.

Sydney is the other cutie in the picture. She and Sammie are very close. They get together every week and play. They act more like sisters to me-by about one hour into their time together, Sammie is usually crying and Sydney is trying to negotiate (like 10 year olds do). They really do love each other though. It gives me an 'all to real' glimpse of what Sammie and Eliana will be like in 5 years!! YIKES!!

Thumb Sucker

It seems we have a thumb sucker!! Eliana sucks her thumb quite a bit, especially when she's upset. It seems to be a destresser for her, because she cries and then that thumb finds its way up to her mouth and before I know it, Eliana is fast asleep.

I can't tell whether she prefers the right one or the left yet-just the fact that she can coordinate those jerky little things is amazing!!
