Since this is definately a journal for me, I wanted to write down the words Eliana can say at almost 22 months:

Howi Spiwit: Holy Spirit (my favorite word of all; it almost brings tears to my eyes everytime I hear her say it)

I know I'm leaving out some but, these are probably the ones she uses most often. Oma and Opa: maybe this will help you in translating her expressions when you come down.

Remember When...

This morning Paul, the girls, and I were looking at some old video clips. This one was when Sammie must have been about 5 or 6 months old. Boy, it's amazing how quickly they grow!

Paul did about 3 or 4 clips like this one. Maybe when he is able, he can do a new one. He is so creative; the clips he made continue to get better and better.

Latest Pics

These are some of the latest pictures I have taken. Of course, I'm the photographer so when I'm 80, there won't be many pictures of myself to look at. But I'll have plenty of the girls and Paul.
In the first picture, Sammie wanted me to take a picture of how she did her bangs. She is very impressed with herself and thinks she looks so beautiful with the clip in the front. I am all so happy to tell her she is too.

The last couple pictures are of our 1st and only snow fall this year. It came in January. The girls loved it: Sammie pulled out her sled and went down the hill beside our house many times and Eliana just wanted to eat the snow. Thank God she didn't find any yellow stuff (in the south, we'll eat about anything :)
